Adaptive Sportswear is a new on-line source for clothing that is suitable for adaptive sports and handcycling.
Adaptive Sportswear was inspired by the work of the Paralympics, and the many volunteer organizations which encourage athletes with various disabilities to participate in active sports adapted to their unique abilities and talents. Just as athletes need the coaching, facilities, equipment and support provided by those organizations, they also need practical athletic clothing that meets their unique fit and comfort issues.
Since 2008, Reverse Gear Inc. has been re-engineering and adapting athletic wear for athletes who participate in a sitting position, similar to hand-cycling and wheelchair sports. We are committed to providing high quality gear to athletes in adaptive sports and to working with the other manufacturers, sponsors and volunteers who support them.

Our "back-to-front" clothing has been designed to be comfortable while actively sitting. The sportswear is manufactured using technical fabrics that wick moisture and keep you more comfortable during activity.
Adaptive Sportswear offers these benefits and many more:
- COMFORT: Both tops and bottoms have been extensively re-engineered for the sitting position. All tops have straight hems. Necklines are lower and wider.
- SECURITY: The jerseys have zippered pockets to prevent loss of your valuables (e.g. keys, money, cell phone, food) while moving.

Not all items will be suited to every athlete. We recommend that you consider your sport, your personal body-build, and your capabilities when ordering. If you are particularly muscular you may require a larger size. However we guarantee 100% satisfaction.
